GERMANCO BENIN CHAMPION
Germanco the new volleyball team achieved a big surprise as it won the Benin Regional Men's championship of atlantic area on the expense of the last year's champion Postel. The final was very exciting as the new emerging team won 3/1 to get the championship for the first time in history. The competition is for the Atlantic region.
Postel represented his country in the last African Men's Cup of Clubs' Champions in Cairo and left the competition after the first round.
In Women's Atlantic region competition Nova 1 team won the the cup defeating Universite National of Benin.
The first three teams in Atlantic region will qualify automatically to the National championship finals which will be held in the Capital Cotonou 1-6 September 2003. These are Germanco, Postel and Universite Nationale in Men Category, and in Women's Nova 1,Universite nationale and Nova 2.
