Egypt and Serbia meet in their second match in Cairo.
Cairo, Egypt, June 24, 2007-: Egypt Men's volleyball team meets Serbia for the second time in the fifth weekend of the 2007 World League in the intercontinental round Pool C at Cairo Stadium Complex on Sunday.

Egypt team wants to improve the performance after their poor show in their first match on Friday that resulted in their ninth defeat in front of the local crowed who expected better performance after the great match Egypt played in the fourth weekend in Russia specially because it was the first match to be supervised by the National Head coach of Egypt Ahmed Zakaria after he took over the responsibility from the Polish coach Grzegrez Rys.

"We played a bad match on Friday but we want to improve today to get the support of the spectators again," Said Zakaria. "All the superstars of my team were completely out of form in the first match and I think if they played like in Russia last weekend we may have much better result and even we could win. All what I want is to see all my key players at their utmost effort in the second match." He added.

The Serbian Head coach Igor Kolakovic was happy with his team's performance in the first match as well as with the achievement of the fifth victory in the pool that re- gained their hopes of a final round ticket. "We want to achieve the victory not only in the second match on Sunday, but also in our final matches in the sixth weekend against Russia.

Serbia is ranked second in poll C with 14 points, three points behind Russia which lead the pool with a win- loss ratio of 5-4. Egypt comes at the bottom of the pool with 9 points from 0-9 record and still seeking their first victory in the World League.
