CAVB starts the development
plan through VIS and Coaches courses in Cairo
Cairo, Egypt, April 18, 2009- In the framework of the
development plan adopted by the African Volleyball Confederation
(CAVB) Board of Administration in November 2008, the
headquarters will host both Coaches and Volleyball Information
System (VIS) courses attended by more than 50 participants in
the actual implementation of the strategic planning which will
continue peripherally afterwards in all the continental zones.
The opening ceremony will be held in the Olympic Committee hall
on Sunday and will be attended CAVB President Dr. Amr Elwani and
the CAVB Vice President Mr. Habu Gumel
The coaches’ course will be instructed by two FIVB instructors
who are Abdel Hamid El Wassimy and Sherif El Shemerly, while the
VIS will be instructed by Karopka form Poland.
The course will extend for 5 days in the theoretical part and
will continue for the practical part during the 2009 Men’s
African Club Championship to be Held in Ahly Hall in Cairo from
23 April to 2 May.
