Elwani happy with the
implementation of the development plan in the closure ceremony
of the Coaches and VIS course
Cairo,
Egypt, April 26, 2009- The African Volleyball Confederation (CAVB)
President Dr. Amr Elwani closed the coaches and VIS course
attended by 30 participants which comes in the framework of the
Development Plan adopted by the CAVB Board of Administration.
The 6 days course was very successful and fulfilled all the
necessary items for all the modern tools of coaching.
The coaches course was instructed by two of the famous FIVB
instructors Mr. Abdel Hamid El Wassimy who presented many recent
programs in coaching and the court tactics and also Sherif El
Shemerly who had different theoretical and practical lectures.
The VIS course was instructed by Tomazs Kuropka from Poland and
continued his practical lectures during the ongoing Men’s
African Club Championship at Al Ahly club in Cairo.
All
the participating coaches were very satisfied by the course and
expressed their cheers to attend this event and promised to use
the items they gained to share in the improvement of their
countries and zones.
The theoretical part of the course was hosted at the Egyptian
Olympic committee Hall in Cairo, while the practical was in Al
Ahly club, the host of the African competition.
Elwani was happy to declare the result of the course as 100% and
to see the first step of the development plan coming to a
complete success. He promised the attending federations to
continue the development peripherally in the continental zones.
“It is nice now to see the result of this course and the
standard of the participants but we hope to work one hand to use
practically the results
of
this course,” said Elwani while he was giving the certificates
to the participants. “I want also here to thank the FIVB and its
President Mr. Wei for their full support technically and
financially.” He added.
