President of Burkina Faso meets Elwani as he declared full support to volleyball in the country
Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, March 21, 2009- African volleyball was honored when Burkina Faso President of the Republic Mr. Compaore Blaise meets CAVB President Dr. Amr Elwani at the presidency Palace in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso during his visit to attend Zone III meeting where he had a long discussion with him about the development of volleyball in the western part of the continent generally and in Burkina particularly.

Elwani promised that Burkina will organize soon a big African competition under the name of the president Compaore to open the new marvelous hall in Ouagadougou that will participate in the big push for Burkina volleyball at the continental and international levels.

The president of Burkina Republic send his greetings to Dr. Elwani and the CAVB Staff for their hard work to push the continental volleyball forwards at the international level after Elwani described the big support of volleyball from the International Volleyball governing body (FIVB) specially the increasing of the African slots at the international level.

Elwani promised also to support all the technical aids to Burkina specially after he knew that the president was practicing many sports including volleyball the he likes usually to support this sport locally.

Burkina President also thanked Elwani for leading successfully Zone III meeting which includes 8 countries that has great potential to improve volleyball in coming few years. Elwani asked the president to supervise the following up to use all the CAVB new projects to improve volleyball specially the courses mead by CAVB in all the categories under the new strategic planning.
