Candidate refereeing course in Tunisia 15 March

Tunis, Tunisia, February 18, 2009- the Tunisian volleyball development center will organize the international referee candidate course in Tunisia 15 to 24 march under supervision of the World volleyball governing body FIVB.

The course will be a favorable situation to graduate more African refers at the international level as it will be directed by the experienced CAVB Referee Commission president Hassan Ahmed who is also the secretary general of the FIVB Referee Commission and instructed by one of the most famous African instructors Mohamed Habib. The participants must be over 25 years and under 41 years and should be registered by the FIVB at least three times during the last 5 years. As the course will be compulsory in English, the participants should have the Basic English to be allowed to register.

“This will be the only candidate referee course in 2009 so it is the only chance for the promising referees in Africa to shine,” said the course director Hassan Ahmed. “I hope to see participants as many as possible specially that the development center in Tunisia has all the facilities that can bring the course to complete success.” He added.
