Dr. Elwani presented the most prominent proposal during the
meeting where he featured the importance of exchange the
referees between Africa and Europe during the continental
competition which will have double benefit for both sides. He
showed the importance of having world class referees in African
competitions as neutral referees while as Europe use the African
referees in the European competitions according to a protocol
between the African (CAVB) and European (CEV) confederations.
The Executive had also proposal regarding the implementation of
the African beach Volleyball circuits at the club level as was
decided during the last board meeting. The Executive Committee
also expressed the importance of continuing the zonal
competitions which started successfully in 2007 and considered
as a qualification to All Africa Games. The zonal competitions
will be held annually as a qualification to all the continental
competitions as a system to increase the National teams involved
in the international competitions.
The executive members had another proposal of selecting the
Women's African Volleyball team which will include the best
players from the national teams of all the African courtiers.
This team will be sponsored to play many international matches
all over the world as a way to increase the experience of the
players internationally specially for the teams that didn't
