2007 All Africa Games:
Tunisia prepares for All Africa Games with friendly matches against Italy
Tunis, Tunisia, June 28, 2007-: Tunisia Men’s Volleyball team started the countdown preparations to the finals of All Africa Games in Alger, Algeria 14 to 23 July 2007 through a camp in Italy which include three friendly matches against its National team starting from Thursday.
Tunisia which comes as great favorite to the gold medal of the volleyball competition of All Africa Games with the defending champions Egypt started their preparation with an international tournament in Poland.
The Italian Head coach of Tunisia Antonio Giacobbe selected 13 players for the Italian friendly matches who will constitute the squad that will play two big occasions All Africa Games in Algeria as well as the African Nations Championship in South Africa next September which is also qualifying to the 2007 World Cup in Japan. The team includes the team captain and the experience setter Ghazi Guidara, the strong wing spiker Khalid Belaid, Eskender Ben Tara, Hesham El Kaabi, Ayman Belsroor, Marwam Fehri, Shokey El Guini from the champions of the local league and cup Esperence, Marwan Garci from Etoile du Sahel, Hosni Karamosli, Belal Ben Hussin From Sfax, Ayman Ben Brick from Saydia club, Heikal El Gharbi from Hawaria, Elias Karamosli from Hamam Anf club.
The Tunisian experienced left attacker Nour Eddine Hafaedh was excluded from the squad after his transfer to Al Arabi of Qatar to participate in the final of Qatar cup against the desire of the head coach who wanted him to participate in the international tour in Poland.
