Botswana Men and South Africa Women represent Zone 6

Walvis Bay, Namibia, March 7-: Botswana Men's Volleyball team and South Africa Women's will represent African Zone 6 in the 9th All Africa Games to be held in Alger, Algeria in July 2007 with the already qualified South Africa Men's team as one of the best ranked teams in the last All Africa Games in Abuja, Nigeria 2003., following their victories in the zonal qualification ended on Tuesday in Walvis Bay, Namibia.

In men's category the already qualified South Africa team won the qualification following their victory over Botswana in the final match in straight sets 3-0 but the second ranked team Botswana secured a place in the finals as the second ranked team in these qualifications. Both South Africa and Botswana teams played good matches full of thrills and had most of the individual prizes of the competition.

In Women's Category the South African team won the tournament following their narrow victory over Botswana 27-25, 30-28, 25-23.

It is well known that the finals of All Africa Games will comprise 12 teams in each category which will be the seven champions of the zones, the best three ranked teams in the last competition in Abuja, Nigeria as well as the previous (Nigeria) and coming (Algeria) organizers.
